In Istanbul, the cabs rule the road.

Maik, a hotelier and restaurateur in Palaia Epidavrous, hasn't always been old and on crutches. In his youth, in this very town, the great shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis showed up in town in his yacht, with the opera diva Maria Callas in tow.

Maik's eyes sparkle with the vigor of his unassuming youth as he relates the tale...
